3DS1 Decommission Updates
Please see the documentation on 3DS1 sunset and migration to EMV 3DS2 below.
The 3DS 1 decommission date is Oct 15 for Visa and Oct 18 for MC. After these dates, Visa and MC will respond to 3DS1 requests with a ‘not enrolled’ response and merchants that have not migrated to 3DS2 will still be able to process transactions, but they will all be considered non-3DS/standard e-commerce.
